Are you a millionaire looking for love? We all know it can be quite lonely on the top and working long hours can make it very difficult to socialise and find love. Mairead Molloy, founder of Berkely International, a dating agency created specifically for millionaires. House of Coco went out to find out more about Mairead and her company and gained an insight of her inspiration which led to her building such a unique dating website.
We interviewed Mairead who had told us a bit more about her company. It seemed that the company was founded 12 years ago, when she had found a niche in the market for a high end audience, who didn’t have the time to find someone who suited their lifestyle or meet their needs. From this Mairead had discovered the perfect opportunity to build a dating agency for millionairres who are able to put money into finding their soul mate.
Barristers, doctors, entrepreneurs are all examples of individuals with a busy life-style and for them to be able to find a soul mate is pretty daunting. The target audience for the dating agency are busy, professional, educated individuals who are looking for someone within the same bracket as they are.
The company provides an excellent service with high standards, meeting and liasing with the clients in person is the approach in which the company takes, building that relationship with them in order to find their perfect match!
After speaking to the superstar herself, we found out Mairead admires people who can communicate in a very good way as communication it is the key to everything. I admire Richard Branson as he takes risk, hes a communicator and he takes risks, I admire Communication. She also told us about the company’s success, “We have so many successful marriages, our success rate is about 70%, our matching process is done by us, not a computer. We meet them personally in order to provide them with the right service and communication is highly important.”
We asked Mairead about her success and whether or not she expected the company to do so well! They have now branched out to Europe and are looking to expand further. “I never thought that the niche for the market would become so dramatic so im very lucky to have such a success in the business, I’m overwhelmed.”

“Be natural, be open, be honest. Smile and have a sense of humour. Be yourself, get a blow dry and dont try too hard. Don’t look desperate and just enjoy the evening and don’t get drunk.”
